Picnic rugs, smiling friends, stunning local wines, gourmet food, the summer-sun softly setting over the ocean, and some of Australia’s most amazing live music… Welcome to Ocean Sounds Sunset Concert at Churchill Island,

The Hills Are Alive Group’s latest music festival offering. Ocean Sounds is a family-friendly, music-lovers’ all-day concert that will take place at beautiful Churchill Island (just off Phillip Island), Victoria on Saturday the 19th January. Headlined by the recently ARIA nominated Dan Sultan (with full band), Ocean Sounds will see seven musical acts will be performing including Pierce Brothers (who’s debut album comes out this Friday), Double J Artist of the Year, Jen Cloher, Internationally renowned Melbourne duo Oh Pep!, fast-rising singer-songwriter Mike Waters, and talented up-and-coming local artists Steve Cousins, Maddy May and Imogen Price.

As well as a stellar line-up Ocean Sounds will also showcase local wines and cheeses and gourmet food vans. Attendees are encouraged to bring their picnic rugs, friends, good vibes and to enjoy a memorable experience of quality music in a relaxed, atmospheric and picturesque environment.

Tickets go on-sale this Friday at 9am through the tickets page and cost $65 for adults, $35 for teens and children under 12 are free. If you don’t feel like driving, buses are available from Melbourne and throughout the South Gippsland/Bass Coast region.
